“Rules”

  1. You have 10 Minutes to present your topic. Take this limit seriously. It goes without saying that you cannot explain everything in 10 Minutes!
  2. preparation time should not exceed 10 hours (if you only need 4 hours, that’s fine)
  3. If you have slides, please send them to me the the evening (8pm) before your presentation is due. Format: PDF, OpenOffice Impress, Powerpoint (not the new version ppt not pptx). (Or bring your own laptop.)
  4. Your presentations and essays will not be graded, but you will receive feedback.
  5. essays (& Slides) will be available to all students (Password protected, without the name)
  6. If you write an essay, it should be 1000 - 1200 words. The deadline for the submission of essays (via email) is 21 Nov, 8 pm.
  7. Presenters and essay writers will have a significant advantage in the written exam.
