REVIEW: RegFood support for European campaign “Love your local market” in Rostock (May 2015)

Europe celebrated in May 2015 third time its market culture. From May 13th till 27th 2015 about 900 events were held on markets around Europe. From May 21st till 22nd 2015 Rostock participated for the first time, also. The two days of action took place at Rostock Neuer Markt - in the idea was a “A market to touch”. For this purpose, in addition to the familiar local retailers for the first time more players in local and regional food in the region of Rostock got the chance to present their products and interests. The RegFood project is committed to improving the marketing of local and regional foods in the South Baltic Region and therefore supported the local action with the printing of campaign bags. Inga Knospe (Chief Executive- Grossmarkt Rostock GmbH) thanked Prof. Dr. Andreas Diettrich (University of Rostock) for the support by the project.
